HERE ARE SOME TIPS TO MAKE YOUR DISHWASHER RUN LIKE A PRO

Dishwasher is a real time saver for those who have busy lives – nobody knows that better than someone who does not have a functioning dishwasher in their home – other than their two hands..

It is a very important decision – buying a dishwasher and that is why you have to think it through, buy it from a reputable brand. You can check with customer reviews on that, or ask friends or contact your Appliance Service Company for the best recommendations.

Do not ever overload it and follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Do not place items in the dishwasher that are not dishwasher safe. It is usually labeled whether it is dishwasher safe or not.. Do not put any repaired dishes or chipped/cracked dishes in the dishwasher. Do not put aluminum pots or pans in the dishwasher. Only use dishwashing detergent/liquid – do not use any other type of cleaner or detergent.

Run the hot water in the sink near your dishwasher before starting it so that during the first cycle the water is near 120 degrees. If the water temperature is not hot enough the dishwashing soap will not dissolve.

Inspect your dishwasher after every use. Make sure that nothing has fallen from the racks and check to make sure there is no dirt or sediment left behind or building up around the bottom of the dishwasher or filters. If there is – clean it out.

Check the bottom spray arm once a month or so to make sure there is no built up “gunk” plugged up the holes on the spraying arm.

Check the coating on the racks of the dishwasher to confirm there are no cuts or chips, which can rust.

Thoroughly clean out your dishwasher a couple of times a year or ask your appliance service professional for recommendations before cleaning.
